Built on the floor pan of the Lancia Beta the Zagato was a Beta Spyder built to meet US standards. The body was designed by Pininfarina and the construction was executed by Zagato they were sold, in the US by Lancia Standards, with great success.
We're proud to offer a nicely preserved 1979 Lancia Zagato Spyder. This car is believed to be mechanically sound, but has been sitting. Pininfarina styled- great lines with a targa panel placed in front of an integrated rollover hoop with a convertible like rear window. Capable of 83 hp- cruises at over 80 mph all day. A blast to drive- and very rare. Great opportunity to own a unique Italian classic.
This is a nice older car that has been driven very little in recent years. It has fresh paint and brake hydraulics. It has been recently serviced and looks very good. It has an original interior that is still quite nice. All photos taken as of June 6th, 2016. |

This truck is original as I am the second owner, the original owner was a Ford mechanic and had taken care of it.
To the best of my knowledge this is the original mileage, as the truck does not show the wear of a higher mileage vehicle.
The seats and floor covering are original.

There were 467 Model 51-C Buick's manufactured in 1941
Last year that Buick manufactured 4 door convertibles. The Buick Club of America reflects 16 in its Buick Registry( this is one of those 1-6),
making this car very rare.
The interior was done by Paul Bell of Priest River, Idaho. Paul Bell has done the
interior so n several Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance vehicles.
It should be noted that Paul Bell rebuilt the seat frames replacing worn,tired or
broken seat springs with remanufactured and that the batting material used was
cotton not foam.The interior materials factory correct glazed leather including the
door panels.The custom made convertible top is factory correct material( Stay Fit
brand)and includes headliner(headline was only offered in 1941.
Complete frame off restoration. No part except in tires, has been left untouched,
being either replaced with new old stock or restored
Many parts were machined to replace arts no longer available including( but not
limited to) convertible top and door window register metal bushings.The replaced
bushings make operation of the door windows and the convertible top smooth and
easy. Note the ease with which the does shut.

. Engine: ci Buick fire ball ilnline 8 cylinder
o In 1941 compression was increased from 6.15:1 to 7.01:1. Compound Carbonation (two bbl carburetors)
o This is a rare and very desirable option that boosted hp to 145

260 hp 5.7 L V8 Formally owned by a construction company owner who snow birded from Minnesota in the winter months to Fountain Hills, Arizona where this car was his driver. The owner was getting older and had no need for two cars anymore. It runs and drives without issue; it is a wonderful car to drive. This car is in great driving condition and has recently had new shocks installed. Cosmetically this car is extremely nice, with minor wear to the driver’s seat leather on the extreme edge. Minor wear to the artificial wood trim in a couple small areas, but basically this car looks like it is only a few years old. |
