There were 467 Model 51-C Buick's manufactured in 1941
Last year that Buick manufactured 4 door convertibles. The Buick Club of America reflects 16 in its Buick Registry( this is one of those 1-6),
making this car very rare.
The interior was done by Paul Bell of Priest River, Idaho. Paul Bell has done the
interior so n several Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance vehicles.
It should be noted that Paul Bell rebuilt the seat frames replacing worn,tired or
broken seat springs with remanufactured and that the batting material used was
cotton not foam.The interior materials factory correct glazed leather including the
door panels.The custom made convertible top is factory correct material( Stay Fit
brand)and includes headliner(headline was only offered in 1941.
Complete frame off restoration. No part except in tires, has been left untouched,
being either replaced with new old stock or restored
Many parts were machined to replace arts no longer available including( but not
limited to) convertible top and door window register metal bushings.The replaced
bushings make operation of the door windows and the convertible top smooth and
easy. Note the ease with which the does shut.
