Description:
This Ford pickup is a true survivor. It is original and has very low miles. The condition is outstanding for a truck of this age and has a 4-speed on the floor to go with it's original 6 cylinder engine, a 226 in line with lots of power. It retains its original 6 Volt system and runs and drives very nicely. The date of the manufacture is March of 1948. It has always been stored inside. An inspection by knowledgeable mechanics have verified the mileage is in all probability original. It has been freshly repainted, there was no rust of any kind anywhere on the truck before paint and none now. It has had a couple of cracked side windows replaced, new tires and brakes. The seat was recovered with the original type material. All wiring was replaced, new exhaust system. Has the original 1948 shop manual included. All the wood has been either replaced or refinished. I believe it will drive to most anyplace in the country and needs nothing.
