This jeep was built for U.S.M.C. to be airlifted into combat in the Vietnam war. This unit is number #151 of 1045 built. A very rare jeep that has an aluminum 108 CI V4 air cooled engine along with a aluminum body. It has independent suspension, limited slip differentials, 4 wheel drive, shift on the fly technology, fording depth of 21”and weighs in at 1700lbs. We took this LITTLE guy to Moab and it would go up anything you have balls enough to drive it.
Of course, we spent most of our time explaining to other jeepers what it was. I read they stopped production on them because the Huey Helicopter was produced and it could air lift full size jeeps into battel and the Mighty Mite was no longer needed. You most likely wont find another one of these anytime soon!
