Description:    This is one of the strangest cars I've ever had! This 1958 Studebaker Commander has the 259 c.i. V-8 and 3 speed manual transmission. It also has a posi trac rear end noted by the "TT" emblems , "Twin Traction" . In 1958 , Federal Highway Standards required 4 headlights on all American made vehicles . Studebaker wasn't quite ready, this model has extensions on the '57 fenders to accommodate the 4 bulbs, which are still GE's in this one. Tri-color interior that I can't tell if it's all original or not, great two-tone paint scheme. This old baby drives wonderful down the highway with the updated radials on the chrome smoothies, still have the original hubcaps too! When you look at this Commander close, you realize that the fins are bolted on! That's right, Studebaker figured they better have fins to keep up with the rest of the industry so they bolted some on! If unique is what you seek, look no further!
