Description:
One of the 3,733 LS6 Chevelles ever produced by Chevrolet, this car is one of the most collected muscle cars of all time. 1970 was the introduction of the 454 engine and at that time was only available with the RPO Z15 SS equipment package.
This Chevelle’s factory 454 was manufactured with the LS6 option that produces 450hp. It also features the ZL2 cowl induction hood option that forces air into the carburetor to increase performance. This induction option also includes the functional hood lock pins and deck stripes. This car is painted with the factory Black Cherry exterior paint color and lights up the road with the 4-speed manual transmission.
This fully restored 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 has been on display in the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich, NY. It has also been awarded the AACA (American Automobile Club of America) Junior and Senior National Awards. This car, Ladies and Gentlemen, is an iconic piece of American history.
