This 1998 Lincoln is one of the SPECIAL COLLECTORS EDITION units built
by Lincoln to commemorate the end of production of the MARK SERIES.
Only 1200 some were built and noted with a numbered plaque in the drivers
door frame. This two door Sport Coupe is the last of the two door Lincolns
and one of the only ones with the unique NEON full width rear brake lamp.
The Collector’s Edition also has a special interior featuring Walnut wood trim
and Tan leather seats.
This is a two owner car that has been garaged by both drivers. The car is
mechanically original except for conversion (2014) to solid spring and strut
suspension due to lack of functional parts for the air ride system.
131,000 miles but runs well. Driven Phoenix to Las Vegas in Nov. 2015 and
averaged over 22 MPG for the trip. A very clean and beautiful car in Cordovan
Red. Estimated value $4,000 to $6,000.
