1973 Volkswagen Thing Type 181 which is extremely original and rust free. This California car doesn't have any patch panels and no rust repair has ever been needed on this vehicle. It was stored many years in a garage in the Southern California city of Ontario. The car has undergone a complete restoration and looks and runs beautifully. There has only been one repaint in the original factory color inside and out. The pan has no rust at all. The engine and transmission are original and numbers matching. The interior has been completely refurbished and the original soft-top is included as well as the side curtains. This is a beautiful, rust free example of rare VW type 181 Thing. These cars are getting harder and harder to find in stock, original, un-molested condition and the prices are on the rise.
