The vehicle has always been maintained by Mercedes qualified mechanics. Since 1996, it has been serviced primarily by MBI Motors in Portland, OR. The original engine was exchanged for a rebuilt one by Metric Automotive in California in March of 1999, when the car had 118k on it. The car now has approx. 198k on it, so the newer engine only has approx. 80k on it.
At 190k, the fuel injectors were rebuilt as part of its ongoing maintenance
The newer Michelin tires have only approx. 2k on them
The front suspension of the car was redone about 6 months ago

Interior of the car is well maintained, with new headliner put in approx. 2 years ago. This car drives like a modern car and will only appreciate in value if well maintained like it has been. The owner is selling this car only because he just bought a newer S class and now has too many cars. The owner is convinced there is no finer Mercedes 560 SEC available for sale
